PhD collaboration and Industrial PhD

Would you like to find out whether an academic employee can make a difference for your company? If so, collaboration with a PhD student could be an option.

A PhD programme normally stretches over a period of three years. You can have a PhD student who is enrolled at the faculty and has to meet certain requirements regarding course participation, relaying results, and mobility. You can alternatively choose an Industrial PhD student, who is employed in your company and is therefore not subject to compulsory education.

PhD projects can be based on an issue in your company, but must be approved by the university, and the PhD student must have a supervisor from both the faculty and the company.
